Botanical Pure Pact VS Micro Retouching Blur Pact
Application:
Botanical Pure Pact: Does make the skin look lighter but not recommended for combination dry skin. I feel the powder on my skin. It did settle the CC cream or BB cream but the product did not feel light weight.
Micro Retouching Blur Pact: I would recommend using this in moderate amounts because this brightens the skin more than the Botanical Pure Pact. This applies on the face smoothly and product is very light weight. It does help blur out the skin a little to create a flawless look.
Packaging:
Botanical Pure Pact: Packaging was okay. The cushion was soft and I was able to clean it once in a while and it did not fall apart.
Micro Retouching Blur Pact: I preferred this packaging because of the choice of color. When closing the compact it, it was magnetic based which was a nice touch. The cushion was soft as well. What I reapply appreciated was the small cushion holder. This does help for extra safety for your cushion to not easily fall out when opening the compact.
Botanical Pure Pact: Throughout the day I started to see my creases or parts of my face I noticed the power has faded. Especially in summer seasons, when I sweat the product started to look cake or clump. For my skin it had this effect. I would reapply which helped temporarily.
Micro Retouching Blur Pact: This does fade a little throughout the day but it is not noticeable. Because of how light weight the product is I forget I am wearing makeup. During the summer seasons the sweat does not show creases nor does it clump. It is easy to reapply and skin looks pretty clear again. Just use in moderate amounts.
Recommendation:
Make sure your skin is not dry and for anyone with consistent dry skin I would not recommend applying too much of this product, just use in small amounts to build it up. Make sure to moisturize before applying.
I hope my blog helps for those who are considering getting Korean Powder Compacts.
